Blender

Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the 3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and motion tracking, even video editing and game creation. Advanced users employ Blender’s API for Python scripting to customize the application and write specialized tools; often these are included in Blender’s future releases. Blender is well suited to individuals and small studios who benefit from its unified pipeline and responsive development process. Examples from many Blender-based projects are available in the showcase. Blender is cross-platform and runs equally well on Linux, Windows, and Macintosh computers. Its interface uses OpenGL to provide a consistent experience. To confirm specific compatibility, the list of supported platforms indicates those regularly tested by the development team. As a community-driven project under the GNU General Public License (GPL), the public is empowered to make small and large changes to the code base, which leads to new features, responsive bug fixes, and better usability. Blender has no price tag, but you can invest, participate, and help to advance a powerful collaborative tool: Blender is your own 3D software. Everyone should be free to create 3D CG content, with free technical and creative production means and free access to markets.

Z-Modeler 3

ZModeler is a three dimensional modeling tool, designed for users who want to develop models of vehicles and other objects of similar features for videogames such as Euro Truck Simulator, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and even Grand Theft Auto (GTA). The application comes with a large number of features and an overwhelming interface. ZModeler lets its users create 3D models from scratch, allowing them to create anything from the simplest of polygons to the most complex of designs. Due to its features, ZModeler is used mostly by 'modders' and or users with relatively advanced knowledge of 3D modeling. This is not the best application to get started in this world, but rather a tool with which to let your imagination loose once you have the basic knowledge. Due to the application's features, you may end up needing more or less RAM memory to work with. The simpler models are easy to create and will not be very demanding on your computer, but more complex scenes could overcharge less powerful computers. ZModeler is a very comprehensive 3D modeling tool that makes up for a non-intuitive interface with a huge number of quality features. Plus, the application does not require installation. You can, instead, just decompress the files in the compressed file and double click on the executable.

Ninja Ripper

Utility to extract / ripping 3d models (mesh), textures, shaders directly from the running game. RIPPER FEATURES Extracting all available vertex information of the models (position, all the texture coordinates, normals, weights, BLENDWEIGHT, BLENDINDICES, BINORMAL, TANGENT), indices, textures, shaders. Theoretically all extracted information could be import in the 3D editor! Support for D3D11, D3D9, D3D8 (processed, however not all methods/techniques, but should work for 95% of all games). RIPPER FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION • Target (DX8, DX9, DX11 application): • Exe - field for a direct path for the executable file of the application/game • Arg - field for additional settings for an executable file • Dir - field for a direct path to the folder containing the executable file (entered automatically when you select .exe, no need to change by the default) • No Wrapper - mode in which the ripper will try to run .exe of the application/game directly, using for ripping only intruder.dll, if this mode does not work (do not rip) then you need to select one of the wrapper modes! • Wrapper modes - a modes in which ripper will copy d3dX.dll in to a folder containing the executable file of the application/game, after this ripper windows can be closed, then you can start the game from any location, copied d3dX.dll will automatically clinging into the game. Thus no longer need to run the ripper himself for this game. • D3D8 Wrapper - for directx8 games only • D3D9 Wrapper - for directx9 games only • D3D11 Wrapper - for directx11 games only You need to delete .dll from the game folder manually (if necessary), ripper configurations is stored in the registry from now on! • RUN - button to start the application/game • Output Directory (directory for saving ripped models): • Dir - field for output folder (automatically entered), this folder can be selected manually, be sure that checkbox "Don't overwrite by EXE" is cheked • Browse - button to explore folder with selected .exe file • Don't overwrite by EXE - by activating this function, the choice of the executable file does not overwrite the output folder • Settings: • RIP - you can change rip button • Forced to save (Textures) - activating this will forced saving only texture.

Gif 2 animation

Use the program to convert animated GIF files into a sequential image. Handles transparent GIF images and converts them into PNG files. Automatically outputs the number of frames horizontally, vertically and the frames per second on the name of the final image for ease of use with a supplied free script on my free script collection. Upload the image, toss the texture into a prim, add the script and it just works. You just click the "Load GIF" button, find your original GIF file, and click "Output". The program will save the converted program in the same directory or folder you saved the executable program in. If your GIF has a transparent background, select the "Transparency" check box and it will preserve the Alpha channel infomration in the output in a Second Life compatible format.

RW Analyze

RW Analyze may be used to obtain a detailed visualization and analyzation of the contents of a RenderWare binary stream file, including the contents of individual components and the hierarchical structure of the stream. RenderWare Graphics is a powerful multi-platform 3D graphics library developed by Criterion Software Ltd. and used (amongst others) by Rockstar North for their 3D GrandTheftAuto games, such as GTA3, GTA: Vice City and probably GTA: San Andreas. RW binary streams (like .rws, .anm, .bsp, .dff, .dma or .txd files) can contain simple objects, or complex ones. Complex objects can contain other objects - including other complex objects - so a stream's structure can be viewed as a tree. In RW Analyze (RWA) these objects are called sections, represented by an item of the tree view in the main window, consisting of a colored dot followed by the section name, its size, its offset and the section type ID. The dot illustrates the state of a section: Blue : complex section, contains child sections, but no data Green : simple section, contains data, but no child sections Orange: empty section, contains neither data nor child sections Red : faulty section (errors occured while parsing) Furthermore the tool offers various modification possibilities.
